Direct Drilling: The move by more and more farmers to direct drilling of seeds has resulted in contractors providing suitable equipment for cost effective and satisfactory drilling. We operate a Duncan Enviro triple disc unit for direct drilling a wide range of seed from lucerne to cereals.

Excellent results are being experienced by farmers from direct drilling, or as some call it, "no tillage seeding", and the benefits include better moisture retention in the seed bed to assist with germination, less impact from wind erosion, and the retention of soil structure.

Part of the service we offer farmer clients is the ability to re seed paddocks quickly after cereal silage crops have been harvested. Seed selection and fertiliser requirements can be provided by independent suppliers where required. more details

Transport Services: As an operator of a number of trucks, we also undertake tip truck work, such as gravel cartage, grain, fertiliser, hay and silage cartage. For short carts to long distance work, we have trucks and trailers suitable for most road transport needs. Trucks and trailer units are available to assist other contractors in silage, baleage and hay cartage. more details

Silage "RE Stack": A service we offer where we are able to move complete silage stacks from one farm to another. By re stacking the silage, there is little or no loss of feed value.

There is a misconception that bulk or pit silage cannot be shifted any distance economicaly. This had led to many farmers using baled silage at a considerably higher cost. Mowing: As a service to farmers and other hay and baleage contractors, Errol Wills Contracting are able to mow their paddocks for them. Both the triple mowers on the Fendt 926 and the front/back mower combination fitted to a Case CVX 170 are available. more details

Heavy Rolling: To eliminate costly mower repairs, heavy rolling can assist clear silage and hay paddocks. Our 13 tonne water filled heavy roller is ideal for this. more details

Maize Planting: We also operate a maize planter for your maize silage and greenfeed requirements. more details

Silage Tyres: Truckloads of used tyres are available for silage stacks. Due to demand, these may be restricted to our own silage harvesting customers between October and March. more details
